Chato Salisbury
President
Chato Salisbury is a respected leader in the blasting and coatings industry with over two decades of hands-on experience. As a NACE Level 3 Senior Coating Inspector with a bridge specialty, Chato has led work on some of the most high-profile infrastructure projects in the country—including the Astoria-Megler Bridge, Lewis and Clark Bridge, the Freedom Tower, and the 9/11 Memorial in New York City.
Before founding E&L Coatings, he owned and operated a successful structural coatings facility, serving key industries across the region with blasting and coating services built on precision, integrity, and repeatable quality.
Chato brings deep technical knowledge, client-first service, and a crew-centered leadership style to every project. He leads client relations, bid management, jobsite coordination, and crew development—ensuring E&L’s reputation is earned every day, one jobsite at a time.
Nate Yanez
Vice President
With over 26 years of leadership, operations, and logistics experience, Nate brings a proven track record of building strong teams and stronger businesses. He has spent more than a decade working closely with mills, production facilities, and refineries across the U.S., developing deep expertise in industrial environments.
A serial entrepreneur, Nate has owned, operated, and successfully sold five small businesses in both the U.S. and Belize. His approach is consultative, cooperative, and grounded in personal discipline and purpose. At E&L Coatings, he leads field operations, project development, client relations, and crew management—ensuring every job runs smoothly from initial bid to final walkthrough.
Cory Yanez
Health & Safety Manager
Cory brings a unique combination of real-world construction experience and health expertise to her role at E&L Coatings. With 5 years in heavy highway construction and 4 years working with a municipality in Erie, PA, she understands the demands and risks of industrial jobsites firsthand.
A lifelong athlete and certified wellness professional, Cory is passionate about creating jobsite environments that are not only compliant—but built for human performance, resilience, and longevity. She manages E&L’s safety systems, field training, and compliance protocols with a proactive, people-first approach.
Cory holds a degree from Penn State University and is a certified health and wellness coach (NBHWC) and personal trainer (NFPT). She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in integrated nutrition from Bastyr University.
